Hello,
We need to iSCSI port ip on the 3Pars (3PAR1 and 3PAR2) with RC groups stretched between two datacenters (first DC and second DC). Now all 3Par iSCSI ports has a IP addressinf 10.10.10.x, we want to divide iSCSI in 2 subnets 10.10.10.x (Port 0:2:1, Port 1:2:1) and 10.10.20.x (Port 0:2:2, Port 1:2:2).
As i correct understand this process, there are following steps:
1. Migrate all load from 3PAR2 to 3PAR1
2. Stop RC groups
3. Change 3PAR2 iSCSI Port 0:2:2 and Port 1:2:2 IP addreses to the 10.10.20.x subnet
4. Reconfigure iSCSI connections from hosts to the 3PAR2 with new subnet (10.10.20.x)
5. Start RC copy groups and wainting for the groups synchronization
6. Migrate all load from 3PAR1 to 3PAR2
7. Change 3PAR1 iSCSI Port 0:2:2 and Port 1:2:2 IP addreses to the 10.10.20.x subnet
8. Reconfigure iSCSI connections from hosts to the 3PAR1 with new subnet (10.10.20.x)
9. Start RC copy groups and wainting for the groups synchronization
Could you please confim, that the process is correct or not.
Thanks in advance,

SolutionHello Max,
As a high-level plan, the process looks correct.
But, much precise plan is required at step1 and step 6 for failover, recover and failback process. And no changes to be done with Rcopy ports.
Regards,
Srinivas Bhat
