3Par firmware update with the transition to the new licensing model

Цитата из документа: "When customers upgrade any hardware or software, HPE requires customers to switch to the new All-inclusive software licensing program. The new licensing

Google Translated

HPE 3PAR STORESERV 7200 2-NODE STORAGE BASE QR482A with optional M6710 shelf available. 50 licenses for disk slots are activated. (24 per head, 24 per shelf and two free). There is also another shelf M6710. Head firmware 3.2.2. It is planned to update the firmware to the current version.

Starting with HPE 3PAR OS 3.3.1, any hardware or software upgrade will have to switch to the All-Inclusive licensing model based on the array / shelf, not the number of spindles. Quote from the doc: "When customers upgrade any hardware or software, HPE requires customers to switch to the new All-inclusive software licensing program. The new licensing

What happens in our case when we upgrade to the current version? What happens to disk licenses (spindles Will the second shelf work (purchased long before the appearance of this licensing model)?

Hello Vlad,

Have you tried both the phone numbers and both the email contacts?

Could you get the right support with that case id?

Actually not. All of this services kicked off to community.hpe.com, because this is not their area of responsibility
