3par & Veeam

I use 3par
fw: 3.3.1.648 (MU5)+P126,P132,P135,P140,P146,P150,P151,P155,P156
My certificate for 3 par has expired
I updated it via cli
After that I can't backup virtual machines located on 3par

On veeam i get error:

Please help me to solve the problem between 3par and veeam

Hello @Pgb33,

Is that the same error you were getting on Veeam backups before certificate renewal?

The error you are getting now relates more to VSS provider. Can you please check the VSS version compatibility?

Before updating the certificate everything worked correctly.

Hello @Pgb33,

You can find the VSS version in programs and features. Supported VSS provider version must be 2.7.1 or above (v2.7.4 is the latest) for the 3PAR OS you have.

If it is compatible, still the issue persists, please restart the 'VSS provider' service. Let me know how it goes or you need further assistance.

restarting the service 3PARVSSProvider did not fix the problem

Hello @Pgb33,

Please try to uninstall and reinstall or 'repair' (from programs and features) the VSS provider. It may ask you to re-enter the 3PAR IP and credentials while doing that. Please keep them handy before proceeding.

Have you done reinstallation/repair of VSS provider? I think you must wait till the next backup schedule and check the snapshot behavior.
