3par issue by adding a InServ System
Hello everybody,
I have strange error message by trying to add InServ System in my System Reporter
Error creating password file: invalid command name "-nosockssl"
I have already checked the password via the 3PAR CLI and it is correct, I have also already created password file with the CLI user and CLI password via the CLI.
setpassword –saveonly –file <filename> -u <username>
It doesn't matter which password I'm testing, the error message is occurred again and again.
System Reporter 3.1 MU1 P01
CLI 3.1.1
Apache 2.2
MySQL 5.6

Re: 3PAR issue when adding StoreServ to System Reporter
Have you exported any variables that contain "-nosockssl"?

Re: 3par issue by adding a InServ System
While as far as I know, System Reporter 3.1 MU1 P01 is the latest version and patch for System Reporter, the latest CLI is 3.1.2, not 3.1.1.
Install CLI 3.1.2, and re-run the last System Reporter installation (patch installer) changing the location of the CLI to point to the new version. Then try to add the new 3PAR array again.
