3par remote copy volumes don't have the same WWN as source volumes

I'm currently creating some remote copy volumes, and i've read that from version 3.1.2 that you can have it so it automatically sets the remote copy volume with the same WWN as the source volume. Can someone please tell me where this option is so all new volumes are created with the same WWN?

I just do it today.

- Use the newest IMC (4.4.2)

- Do not create the LUN on the Secondary Site

- Add the Primary LUN to RC Group and for secondary choose: Create new volume

Than it is automaticly created with the same WWN.

You can also set the WWN afterwards via CLI with the command setvv -wwn

i'm currently using 4.4.0 and i've not been maknig the volume on teh secondary 3par, but currently when i create it. I get different WWN's. I will try using the latest MC and see if that makes the difference.

Out of interest, do you have a peer persitance license. As I don't on this 3par and wondered if its a feature of that?

And i was aware of command to set it afterwards, but I wanted this to be an automated process that everyone would follow.

I have the Replication Bundle where Peer Persistance is included.

Well i've just tried 4.4.2 and that has made a volume a volume but with a different WWN. 

What O/S are you running, as were still on 3.1.2 (mu1)

I do wonder if its a part of peer persitence.
