3par showvlun status transit for rcopy after powerfailure
Hi,
after a powerfailure at our second site and network problems connecting to quorum witness we lost all our data for a while..
After power was restored & rcopy's were recovered 3par seems normal showrcopy looking normal.
However rcopy vluns secondary on second site show status transit.
# showvlun -v b3VMFS5
Active VLUNs
Lun VVName HostName -Host_WWN/iSCSI_Name- Port Type Status ID
6 b3VMFS5 Pqvfsxs1 100000109B400376 0:2:4 host set transit 258
If anyone can tell me how to resolve this would make me very happy as google does'nt know :)

Re: 3par showvlun status transit for rcopy after powerfailure
eventlogs of primary 3par contained the following entries (soon after secondary 3par failed ) :
Message : Task 4262 (type "remote_copy_failsafe", name "Esxview_loc1") has completed.
Message : Task 4263 (type "remote_copy_failsafe", name "Esxback_loc1") has completed.
Message : Task 4264 (type "remote_copy_failsafe", name "Devbuc2_loc1") has completed.
this led me to the following:
Overriding failsafe state
From the command line, this is done by issuing the
"setrcopygroup override"
subcommand on a group or
list of remote copy replication groups.
Did the trick :)
