Hi, all
I need help. My 3PAR 8200 was connected to HP 2610 switch and work fine. Yesterday the switch was changed to HPE 1950 and after both port on switch are permanently up/down. Ping not succesfull. I loose control to storage.
Can you recomend somtheing?
I tried:
- to conect just 1 management port
- to connect direct to management port
Can I get out one node and insert back?
Thank you in advance

Re: 8200 Both management ports are permanently up/down
Are you talking about ports 5783 and 5782 for remote CLI client or SSMC access?
Do you have ssh access?

If that's the case, ssh would make a difference.
What happens when you go back to using HPE 2610 switch?
If that works, something wrong with your HPE 1950?

SolutionIn final I made troubleshooting:
- try connect to mgmt port directly (notebook to port)
- connect to switch just one link (one from 2 mgmt ports)
- change port setting on switch (speed;, duplex, mdi)
- etc.
But, storage restart help me.

Re: 8200 Both management ports are permanently up/down
It's a bug. I've saw it on 3.2.2 MU3. It can be resolved by support: "Problem Resolution: cleared hang with onallnodes killal netc netcc "
