SolutionHi @Rayasam
You can set limits for AO tiers to achieve custom utilization level:
Option 1 - You can set the Maximum limit to the desired level for FC tier so that rest of the data moves to SSD tier.
Option 2 - Set minimum limit to SSD tier so that AO ensures SSD tier is always used above that limit.
To find this option, please go to SSMC main menu >> Adaptive Optimization >> Select the AO Configuration >> Action >> Edit >> Enable 'Space settings' for the tier >> enter the required values and save it.

Now SSD util reached 93% and customer is worried about if the SSD Tier would be completely occupied
Any advice to reduce the SSD tier utilization ?

Hello @Rayasam,
You can also set the maximum limit for SSD tier. If you have right level of minimum and maximum limit for SSD tier, the tier utilization remains within the set limits.

Re: AO 3PAR. Only FC and SSD disks are in use. Currently FC tier ut
I was told that you really want AO to fill as much of the SSD as possible, and that if you are not specifically putting volumes on SSD only, then you should disable the raw space warning, and let AO fill the SSD tier up.

Hello @Rayasam,
were you able to contain the SSD utilization within the expected level?

Hello @Rayasam.,
Please check, by any chance if the limits were set from IMC (The old management console)? If the limit was originally set from IMC, you can't remove the limits from SSMC. Please login to IMC (probably as admin user) and try to remove the limits.
