Re: Disable host T10 DIF for online migration with peer "motion"
Hi,
you can disable at the Storage by using: setsys HostDIF no
Or on the OS Side example for ESX and qlogic:
esxcli system module parameters set -p ql2xt10difvendor=0 -m qlnativefc
Cali
======================
That was not planned in this way.

Re: Disable host T10 DIF for online migration with peer "motion"
thank very much for you answer cali,
In my case i have disable this opcion in our 3par
System parameters from configured settings
------Parameter------ --Value---
RawSpaceAlertFC : 0
RawSpaceAlertNL : 0
RawSpaceAlertSSD : 0
RemoteSyslog : 0
RemoteSyslogHost : 0.0.0.0
SparingAlgorithm : Default
EventLogSize : 3M
VVRetentionTimeMax : 336 Hours
UpgradeNote :
PortFailoverEnabled : yes
AutoExportAfterReboot : yes
AllowR5OnNLDrives : no
AllowR0 : no
ThermalShutdown : yes
FailoverMatchedSet : yes
SessionTimeout : 01:00:00
HostDIF : no
DisableDedup : no
PersonaProfile : block-only
SingleLunHost : no
To do an online migration, is it enough to have this parameter disabled at the Storage level? or do you also have to disable it at the OS level (Redhat) like the example you show me with ESXi?
Regards...
