Ghost WWN root cause

Hi guys,

I have a "ghost" wwn problem on front end ports on a 3PAR 7400.

After a switch replacement, hosts wwn ( AIX & ESX ) are shown on more ports than zoning configured.

HP Support team tells us to do a controlport rst on these ports, as we are on production configuration, we did a controlport nssync in order to have the latest online wwn.

This post to know if someone knows how the informOS keep these "old" wwn  and why in this case, the array doesn't take care of rscn sent from brocade switch ?
