HP 3PAR StoreServ 7200 POWER USAGE
i am currently using the "HP 3PAR Management Console" but not seeing any vurrent power usage readings.
I assume this information should be availabe in this app but if not can I see them from the CLI ?
I have 32 x 850GB Hitachi disks installed in a total of 2 shelves and need to estimate power consumption for moving to a datacenter.
I am a 3par newb, but not an HPE newb.

Re: HP 3PAR StoreServ 7200 POWER USAGE
Using the CLI and typing "shownodeenv" but the numbers aren't helping with overall power consumption since the input voltage is 220V.

Re: HP 3PAR StoreServ 7200 POWER USAGE
I ended up multiplying the voltage times the amperage for the items listed in that output for both node0 and node1.
I wasn't sure what voltage to use with the CPU Current amperage so I used the 5V current reading for each node.
These are the numbers I used to calculate node0. Luckily they are close to what I estimated at 115 for the enclosure plus 15W per drive with 16 drives per enclosure. (355 W)
PCM 0 (5V) 5.15 V --- --- Within Tolerance 15.04 W
PCM 0 (40A Max) 2.92 A --- --- Within Tolerance
PCM 0 (12V) 12.26 V --- --- Within Tolerance 112.91 W
PCM 0 (56A Max) 9.21 A --- --- Within Tolerance
PCM 1 (5V) 5.15 V --- --- Within Tolerance 23.33 W
PCM 1 (40A Max) 4.53 A --- --- Within Tolerance
PCM 1 (12V) 12.26 V --- --- Within Tolerance 111.14 W
PCM 1 (56A Max) 9.14 A --- --- Within Tolerance
Node Input 12V 12.16 V 11.40 V 12.60 V Within Tolerance
Node Input Cur 6.34 A 0.00 A 22.00 A Within Tolerance 77.09 W
CPU Current 4.50 A 0.00 A 59.00 A Within Tolerance 23.00 W
N VCC_DIV 5.28V 5.11 V 5.00 V 5.54 V Within Tolerance
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
362.51 W total for node 0
Hopefully this helps someone else out;.
