HP 3PAR T400 sees the disk as 1TB not 2TB.
The system on sees 1TB instead of 2TB. That's why I got this error below. The disk is 641222-001 (2TB).

What OS are you running?
What does "showpd -i 204 205 206 207 268" show?

Looks like it.

I wanted the -i output to check the model. Also of the new PD.

Re: HPE 3PAR T400 sees the disk as 1TB not 2TB
The label says it is 2TB and the system sees it as 1TB. Is it that the HDD controller is for 1TB and the HDD mechanism/platter for 2TB? We bought it from a reliable HP distributor.

Re: HPE 3PAR T400 sees the disk as 1TB not 2TB
I already put back the defective one (hoping it would revive, besides I do not have any spare). The only info I got is this screenshot.

Re: HPE 3PAR T400 sees the disk as 1TB not 2TB
From this HDD there are two part numbers first is 641222-001 (for 3PAR T400) and the second is 0967253-01 (for 3PAR F200/F400). Does this HDD will work with both storage?

Re: HPE 3PAR T400 sees the disk as 1TB not 2TB
Again: I wanted the showpd -i output to check the model. Also of the new PD.
What does "showversion -b" show?
From the model HUA722020ALA330 and the FWDB, it seems it is 2 TB.
If you have to, put the new PD in another mag.

Re: HPE 3PAR T400 sees the disk as 1TB not 2TB
The system sees it as 1TB, regardless of the label (as 2TB). Any idea/guess why this thing happens.
