HPE 3PAR fans making loud noise
Hi,
My hpe 3par is making a loud noise with its fans being in high speed after I shut it down and start up again following the recommonded procedure.
I used CLI to shut it down and start it up the middle bottom in the front flashing amber but in the rear all the leds are in green and ok status.
Checkhealth shows everything is working good but the fans are in high speed.

Re: HPE 3PAR fans making loud noise
Hi Abdalla,
Whenever there is a lot of data writes or chunklet movement between the PDs, (I seen this during cage firmware upgrade, rebalancing, tunesys etc.) cages usually make a lot of fan noise. This is temporary state. After the activity is completed, fan speed will be back to normal. Please check if any large data movement or data write activity is in progress. And observe it after completion.
Regards,
Srinivas Bhat
