How to find newly shipped 3PAR OS version

Hi All,

One of my customer received a newly purchased 3PAR 8000 Storage. I need to know version of 3PAR OS before powering up this storage so I can get relevant VSP media. How to find OS version 3PAR storage is shipped with?

Hi

Usually they ship with 3.2.2 MU6 with patches

I have not seen systems shipped with 3.3.1 these are your only options

also you should decide if your systems comes with 3.2.2 MU6 if you want to latest 3.3.1

than you have to prepare for the upgrade.

I don't think you can tell before hand

Last Systems now Sipped with 3.3.1 MU2 (in Germany).

Unless it is ordered with a different version, the default for your array is 3.2.2 MU6, so you need SP 4.4.0 MU8.
