Is it possible to convert a 3PAR 7400 controller to a 7200?

Is it possible to convert a 3PAR 7400 controller to a 7200?

We have a defective controller in our 3PAR 7200 workshop/education system. And we have a good and working 7400 controller. Since they look identical regarding the hardware, I thought it could be possible to make a 7200 out of the 7400....

Does someone know how this could be accomplished? I guess some BIOS/flash/PROM parameters must be changed....

They have different specs (processor, cache size, etc, ...). So it is not possible.
