Port listed as host path but is State:ready, Mode:initiator and Type:rcfc

Hi,

I do the checkhealth in my 3par system. But always get the alert as belowя╝Ъ

Port port:0:0:2 Port listed as host path but is State:ready, Mode:initiator and Type:rcfc
Port port:1:0:2 Port listed as host path but is State:ready, Mode:initiator and Type:rcfc
Port port:2:0:2 Port listed as host path but is State:ready, Mode:initiator and Type:rcfc
Port port:3:0:2 Port listed as host path but is State:ready, Mode:initiator and Type:rcfc

The four ports are used as rcfc ports. Check the port status and rcopy status, and they are fine. So what does the alerts mean? How can I fix the alerts? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, The controlport will affect the rcfc connection?

Re: Port listed as host path but is State:ready, Mode:initiator and Type:rcfc

A late Update for anybody else who gets this error.
(Like me today)

Assuming, that RCFC is properly configured and Zoning is correct (Only the 2 RCFC Ports in the Zone).
To check this use: showportdev ns 0:2:2
You should see only the two RCFC WWN, so where are the Hosts come from?

The Issue is, that the Array holding a List of all Hosts ever seen on the Ports.
The message says, that on these ports Hosts are seen (also in the past), but it is an RCFC port that should not see Hosts.

Check the Host list with: servicehost list
Cleanup all old Hosts with: servicehost remove [-f 0:2:2]

Then it is gone.
Give KUDOS's if this was a Help.
