Question about 3par 7400 4N OS 3.2.2 and Solaris 10
Hi guys:
I have a question: We have a Solaris 10 conected to 3par 7400 4N with OS 3.2.1 and work OK. We conected a new 3par 7400 4N with OS 3.2.2 in the same fabric switches and the same zone and exported a virtual volume to the Solaris machine.
But in Solaris i can not see the new volume and when we try to refresh, the export in the new 3par lost the paths!!
The only diference between the 3par is the OS. All of the details (cabling, for example) are identical.
Any ideas ?

Re: Question about 3par 7400 4N OS 3.2.2 and Solaris 10
A quick check of operating system compatibility for 3PAR OS 3.2.2 at SPOCK (www.hpe.com/Storage/Spock) indicates Solaris 10 "...has reached its End-Of-Support-Life date..." <sad face>
You should open a case with HPE Support, but be advised it's time to start thinking of upgrading to Solaris 11.
