Recovery Manager For Oracle ERROR- Extra volume found in Remote Copy Group

Hi!

I am using Remote Copy For Oracle between 2 3PARs, for years I have 2 volumes replicated with RMO, which are called OracleData and OracleArc. I have created another new volume OracleData_vv1, assigned to the Production Oracle server and belongs to the Oracle Remote Copy Group. In the destination 3PAR, the volume is already synchronized.
The problem happens when the RMO task is launched from destination server where RMO is installed, the snapshot is not performed at the source and it does not launch the replica with the error 3PAR1108

What is te correct procedure to add extra volume to existing installation?.

3PAR are on 3.2.2 (MU6)

Hello twias1,

Did you add the new member to the RC group from 3PAR side? It seems, the RMO might not be aware of the new member. You may need to recreate the group, but I am not sure.  The logs need to be checked to find out what was going on at the time of RMO task launching. You may contact support if still issue persists.
