Replacing Healthily disk to another one with bigger size

Hello Everyone,

I need to accomplishe the following task, I have a F400, with a lot of 300 Gb disks, I need to replace this disks to a 900Gb disks, and the storage is on a Production Enviromment.

I´m thinking on doing the following Steps:

1 - Servicemag -start -pdid

2 - Servicemag -status (untill the servicemag is Finished)

3 - showpd -space (To see if there is any chunklets on it)

4 - Replace the drive by a new one

5 - servicemag -resume

6 - servicemag -status (Untill the servicemag is finished)

7 - admithw

8 - admitpd

9 - Run a tune on the CPGs.

And repeat this procedures to all the others drivers that need to replace.

Can anyone validate if this procedures works, or do I have to do something diferents?

Regards.

What HP 3PAR OS version?

There should be no need to do these steps.  But I suppose the admithw could put the latest FW there.
