Re: Reserved Copy size of Physical copy is showing more than original size.
Could you share an output of showvv -s and highlight the volumes in question?

Re: Reserved Copy size of Physical copy is showing more than original size.
You seem to have multiple snapshots under this main volume. At least 5 snapshots under that physical copy? I think that's why you see so much higher reserved space for this physical copy.

Re: Reserved Copy size of Physical copy is showing more than original size.
Hi Yap,
Thanks for your feedback.. But i just want to highlight that the same (Reserved Copy size of Physical copy) is less in size last month but In recently we have reclaimed around 500GB from decommissioned hosts and now we are not able to see that much of add on Free space on storage. All CPG's have already compacted.
Is that possible the space reclaimed has been utilized by those multiple virtual copies (snapshots) ???

SolutionIt is the delta that is tracked. When you take a snapshot, 3PAR has to track all the changes/delta from the time you created the snapshots. All these require space.
If you have space concerns, and you DON'T need the snapshots, you can delete those to free up space.
There is a whitepaper on 3PAR virtual copy (snapshots) but the link seems to be dead:
https://www.hpe.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA6-4486ENW.pdf
You can have a look at this for more info on snapshots on 3PAR:
