Hi all,
3PAR 3.2.2 with SSMC 3.4.1. I've created a couple of threshold alerts in SSMC where I specified only myself as the e-mail recipient. Each time these alerts were triggered there were multiple e-mails sent:
- One e-mail from SSMC itself that respected my settings (i.e addressed to me only).
- One e-mail from "Inserv" at the service processor's IP address that was addressed to each of the admins configured in the SP's Notify address fields.
- One e-mail from "Inserv" sent to the default notification address.
How can I get these SSMC threshold alerts going to only my e-mail address without impacting any of the existing Inserv alerting?

The system has its own alert mechanism or even have default alerts. The ones what you mention, I assume they are the performance related thresholds. The SP and Inserv alerts are mostly related to the health status of the system. So I am bit confused why you are getting alerts from all (SSMC + Inserv) for the same event. Is the threshold you set is a performance related one?

What is the SP version? it that 5.0.x?
Please check the rules set for the contacts. There should be some local notification rules for suppression and disclosure of specific alerts for contacts set.
