User privilges-Can create new objects but not delete

Hello

I want to create a user on 3par8200 that can do:

Create new LUN

Export the LUN to a host

Edit the current LUN size  , increase a LUN size

Browse the current luns and hosts

But can not do :

remove existing LUNs.

Remove a LUN from its existing Volume set

Remove any export from LUN to a host

romove host .

remove host from its host sets.

edit any other user

Which role to choose when creating the user?

Hi Owahid,

I tested all possibilities and found the 'create' role of the user is closest to your requirements.

Among your requirements, it fulfills everything except the possibility to 'Edit the current LUN size'.

User with 'create' role can do:
Create new LUN                                          ✓
Export the LUN to a host                           ✓
Edit the current LUN size                           X
Browse the current luns and hosts            ✓

But can not do :
remove existing LUNs                                 ✓
Remove LUN from its Volume set              ✓
Remove any export from LUN to a host    ✓
romove host .                                               ✓
remove host from its host sets.                  ✓
edit any other user Not possible                ✓
