SolutionI'm sure the 3PAR has an IP, but maybe someone has set it to something really odd.
However, each 3PAR comes with 2 LAN cables (red and blue) and 2 adapters (grey and black).
Take a normal LAN cable (e.g. the blue) and connect it to the MFG port of the 3PAR node 0.
Then connect the grey adapter 180-0055 to it. Connect this to a PC, use terminal emulation (putty -> serial), set speed to 57600 and connect.
Now you can logon using your 3paradm user and password (default was 3pardata), then run "shownet" to get the IP.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: change Service Processor from one 3Par 7200c to another 3Par 7200c
Thanks, Torsten!
I found the IP connected and well it turned out I have a Node 1 Failed (Node Offline Due to Failure {0xd})
I guess I have to open another post for the replacement procedure and should I go for it at all.
Once again thanks a mil!
If it resolves the issue, please consider marking it as an Accepted Solution.

Re: change Service Processor from one 3Par 7200c to another 3Par 7200c
OK.
But you need to have a SP connected to this 3PAR.
It can inform you (by mail) about hardware failures and in case you have a support contract it can call home and open a support case automatically.
Nevertheless it is needed in case of patching and firmware updating he hardware.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
