rename a LUN in HP 3PAR
Hi Team,
Is it possible to rename a Virtual LUN and Virtual Volume without downtime ? we already have database running on this LUN and we need to change for some naming convention change. please suggest.

Rename a virtual volume? You can do that anytime, anywhere. The Virtual Volume name shown on the 3PAR array is transparent to the hosts. What will require downtime is if you want to change the LUN number.

Just use: setvv -name new-name old-name
