slot/cage issue on HP 3par 7400

Hi All,

I am facing slot/cage issue so that I am unable to perform upgrade on this 3par..

FYI...

There is drive in a failed state for over a year now. The problem is not the drive but the physical slot in the enclosure/cage. I've decided The only solution to resolve this issue is to bringing down the entire array and replace the enclosure/cage.as we have tried other options to resolve this issue but no luck ..

Do you have any other idea to resolve the issue?

Also kindly share your suggestion's to move ahead with this plan.

What errors do you have for the upgrade?

What is your current and target OS version?

Have you asked Support about this problem?

Because you have replaced the disk and no change?

What errors do you have with:

showpd -s -failed -degraded

>Do you have any other idea to resolve the issue?

Do you have another cage you can connect and move the PDs to it?
