strange i/o issues on SAN
We have a server hung (rp3440) which runs on 3PAR storage. we had lot of i/o issues and we have replaced everything (hba cards, PCI Cage) etc and i still see the i/o hang and huge i/o wait. Is there some config we have to use (settings, or particular persona port?) when we configure 3PAR for HP-UX? I was told that the 3PAR storage was on persona port 8. could someone advise on this?
Thanks
Joe
P.S. This thread has been moved from Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Enterprise) to HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage.- Hp Forum moderator

What is the statement about MPIO on HPUX from 3PAR (I found that they have software for aix for mpio)
Can you configure a single path connection? Modify your zoning. Can you try if this is a more stable solution?
