Hi,
I have one rp3410, and when I do (top) it shows me only one cpu. This cpu is a dual core?
I had seen one page and it says:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12036_div/12036_div.HTML
At A Glance
rp3410 Server Product Numbers
PA-8900 two core, 1 processor Capable Base System:
With one active and one inactive PA-8900 800-MHz core.
Is correct that I only seen one cpu?
ystem: hp9z19 Thu Oct 4 17:18:05 2007
Load averages: 3.68, 3.00, 3.00
143 processes: 123 sleeping, 19 running, 1 zombie
Cpu states:
LOAD USER NICE SYS IDLE BLOCK SWAIT INTR SSYS
3.68 26.7% 0.0% 1.0% 72.3% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%
Memory: 986160K (940392K) real, 2206824K (2076860K) virtual, 1278452K free Page# 1/

Thanks a lot of,
Carmen.

Re: 1 core o dual core in a rp3410
The rp34xx server has always dual core cpu's, but the entry model was sold even with 1 core disabled.
In this case you can purchase a license to enable the second core, see
http://docs.hp.com/en/A7137-96009/ch03s01.html?btnNext=next%A0%BB
for more information.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
