Can I install HPUX 11.00 32 bit or 64 bit on a 715s? If not can I upgrade the mainboard in order to do so?

Hi Greg:

That's an old one. If I remember correctly the 715s came in 50's and 33's. Those 715's are not supported for any version of 11.x. The 715/64/80/100/100XC's are suppported for 11.x 32-bit. Swapping motherboards is really not practical. I would get a used C160,C180,or above. It will run either 32-bit or 64-bit 11x. The old C boxes are now very inexpensive on the used-equipment market.
