875MHz's and HPUX11.0

It appears that 875's and HPUX 11.0 is not supported is this true??? seems you can only run 875MHZ's with 11i
Has anyone else run accross this

Hi,

Yes. You'll have to drop back to 750 Mhz CPUs to run 11.00. We ran into that same issue last week on two new systems we were ordering.

What system are you dropping those 875s into?

Believe they only are supported on 7410, 8400 & up.

And if I'm not mistaken those can only run 11i.....

Hi,

I believe it is linked to the underlying server hardware you have. I was told that none of the servers that can run 11.0 are designed for 875mhz processors. Typically the "superdomic" servers like RP7410, RP8400, SD* 's can be installed with 875 and they are not compatible to be installed with 11.0.

I believe you can run 875's on the 5470's but only 11i thanks for all the help
