9000 Model to Product No. Listing

Where can I find a comprehensive listing of HP 9000 servers relating their model number to HP product no. i.e. K460 > AXXXXX?

Thanks

Re: 9000 Model to Product No. Listing

Steve,

Unfortunately, it doesn't really work like that, since (especially with the K's & D's) upgrades, done by HP and by used equipment vendors, were very common. Each time a K box is upgraded, a new model number is assigned, which gives each model of K-class at least 2 or 3 numbers.

The best resource would be:
http://www.partsurfer.hp.com/
Type in 'K460' into the model field on the left, and it will come back with all of the model numbers for the K460. repeat with all of the other servers you need.

Here's a non-comprehensive list of all the HP9000 servers sold in the last 10 or so years:

http://h20141.www2.hp.com/hpparts/default.asp
