Re: A Corrected Platform Error

Check in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log | grep EMS

If it triggered from EMS it usually gives some command you can run to gather more information.

Re: A Corrected Platform Error

As it says, you appear to have had an error on your oci hardware. Log a call with your local HP Support office

Re: A Corrected Platform Error

Hi Dave,

I got the above output only after excuting that command from the EMS event.

EMS event was

------ EMS Event Notification ------ Value: MAJORWARNING (3) for Resource: /system/events/cpe/cperrors (Threshold: >= 3) Execute the following command to obtain event details: /opt/resmon/bin/resdata -R 172425218 -r /system/events/cpe/cperrors -n 172425248 -a'

Re: A Corrected Platform Error

Cut and paste the last bit into the command prompt:
/opt/resmon/bin/resdata -R 172425218 -r /system/events/cpe/cperrors -n 172425248 -a

It may give more information. Like mentioned about though, my guess is a call is in order.

Re: A Corrected Platform Error

I did run the command and here is the output. I just need to know where can i find more information about this error.

Is it a error related to the adapter or something else.

Re: A Corrected Platform Error

Not a whole lot of extra info eh?

Like Melvyn suggests, HP is probably the only one who can tell more.
