A400-6x rp2430 PSU

One of our Servers ( A400-6x ) keeps rebooting. On checking the GSP it reports over temperature and that one of the cabinet fans has failed,

As it is out of warrenty - is there anyone who can tell me ( or point me in the right direction ) for getting a part number for a replacemnt part???

Thanks in advance

Some server parts of this type are listed at http://partsurfer.hp.com

You can also call the support center. 1800-633-3600. Though you'll have to pay for and arrange replacement, you can get their assistance in obtaining the part number.

Kevin, the part number for the 9000/A400 is A6109B but I would doubt that HP still sells the 440MHz stuff, you could probably pick up a A400 with a single 440MHz CPU for around 1200.00 USD. The HP resellers would have them

Re: A400-6x rp2430 PSU

Hi, Kevin.

I remember having a similar case one year ago. It was related to something like defective fans that needed to be replaced.

I believe this was a fan manufacturing issue so you possibly could get them replaced without charges if this happens to be the problem...

Cheers,

Javier.
