Re: A500 dosen't gerate console message
Does the GSP start when you press control-B ?
If not you may have an incorrectly set console, check to where the cable is plugged in. It should be plugged to a three way cable with the selection of console.
Anyone for a Mutiny ?

Re: A500 dosen't gerate console message
Hi Jun,
What type of console are you using, terminal console or web console?
If you look at the HP-UX startup the network card initializes at a later stage and you would be able to ping the machine only after the network card gets initialized.
So what you see is when the light is blinking the machine is still booting and you dont see any messages on console because it is normal.
Let you know if you have any more queries.

Re: A500 dosen't gerate console message
OK, somebody swapped the console cable to the dumb terminal with a wrong one.
Thank you for the replay.
