I have a question on superdome.How do you upgrade the firmware on cell boards to make them the same.

You normally do not do this yourself. You normally engage HP's services to do this for you.

This is normally a job for qualified service personnel, because you easily damage the system, if you do something wrong.

Hi Jon,

Firmware Upgrade activity is very critical and should be done by HP support personnel or HP-ASP.

Cell board firmwares are System Firmware (SFW) and PDHC.
In brief the upgrade process would be
1. Download the firmware depot and put it in SMS
2. Install the depot using swinstall in SMS
3. Run FW utility from MP main menu.
4. Connect to SMS & select the required firmware image from the list.

BTW, the firmware above is just an example. Don't try this! You'll need a different one.
I strongly recommend to contact HP!
