FYI: There is an open case with HP.
Thanks.

Re: A6435 CPUs Operating at 750, not 875mhz
What is your case number? When did you call it in?
Where are you getting the information from? What are the symptoms? What tools are you using to determine the speed? Are the cells in the SEU in any of the same partitions in the 8400? Are there any other speed cpus in the server/seu?
Lots of questions, I know, but we need more info...

Re: A6435 CPUs Operating at 750, not 875mhz
Here are some of the answers. I'll get the rest Monday morning from staff. Processor speed is near the bottom, 750000000.
The rp8400 has four physical partitions. The original two servers are operating at 875mhz, but the two in the SEU are not.

Do me a favor and send a sysrev output from the CM prompt. This could be related to your firmware level.

Re: A6435 CPUs Operating at 750, not 875mhz
if you would provide a
MP:CM>PS
for the cells, this will give us a more detailed view.
BTW, all cells and CPUs are in the server main chassis, the SEU only hosts the IO.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: A6435 CPUs Operating at 750, not 875mhz
Your Cell Board in SEU with part number A6094A is capable of running both CPU speeds. Perhaps in your case, it is throttled down to 750 MHZ. If indeed you have an 875 MHZ CPU, have the CE come in and 1st verify your CPU and then reset the chip setting on the Cell Board.
Good Luck and let me know how you did
