A6825A gigabit NIC on HPUX 11.0

I want to install a HP# A6825A gigabit NIC card on a HP-9000 rp7400 running HPUX 11.0
Do I need different Drivers?
If So what do I need to use it on HP-UX 11.0?

Yes, you need to load s/w for that nic.

The s/w product number matches the h/w product. See http://docs.hp.com/en/5187-1843/ch02s03.html for details.

Install A6825A from your install/core os cd.

Re: A6825A gigabit NIC on HPUX 11.0

Was the gelan (istr that being the requisite driver) actually part of the core media for 11.0? I thought it didn't go onto the core media until 11.11?

BTW, an HP9000 rp7400 isn't a "workstation" :)

It's also on 11.0 Install/Core OS CD June 2002 and later.
