A6826A - 2 different drivers for HPUX 11 v1

There seem to be 2 different drivers for the same hba and the customer is confuse. If you go the ITRC route or HP.com you get the B11.11.13 for HPUX 11v1, if you go to softwaredepot.hp.com they point at B11.11.16 for the same version of the OS.

Which is really the latest driver?

B.11.11.16 will be the latest.

Me and the customer still have a problem with the inconsistency of the different website and firmware versions! I' still believe B11.11.13 is the qualified one.

The document in the first link above shows that for HP-UX 11iv1 (11.11) the driver version B.11.11.13 was released as part of the "Application release 0612" (meaning Dec. 2006). If you go further down in the document it shows that B.11.11.16 was part of "Application release 0803" (meaning March 2008). So the B.11.11.16 is newer than B.11.11.13.

The document also shows that there is a B.11.11.17 release that was part of "Application release 0903" (March 2009). So if you can find that version, that will be the absolute latest.

NOTE: HP is terrible at times about keeping all of their web pages in sync with consistent information.
