Access to dvd-drive in vPar on rp8400

Hi

I can only see the dvd in one of the vPars. How do I change it so I can see it in another vPar?

Is there some (online) general faq/info how to admin the rp8400?

Your DVD will only be accessible to the vPar which "owns" the IO bus to which it is attached (ie. during vparcreate). There are various ways to "share it to the other vPars -- one of which is to use an external DVD and bridge it on your SAN. Although the most practical IMOHO -- would be to NFS share (or use automounter) the VDV device to the other vPars.
