Anybody peformed an Ignite install to a V2200 server?

At the MM (boot) menu I tried
"boot lan.192.168.11.1 install".
That IP is the address for my Ignite server; the syntax is the typical syntax that works on a real HP9000 system (as opposed to the V, which is really a Convex system).

The error returned was:
"disc(0/0/0.1.0;0) lan.192.168.11.1: cannot open or not executable. Exec failed: No such file or directory."

I note that the primary boot path for the V is 0/0/0.1.0. and how that primary path showed up in the error message. Given that the V really uses OBP and not PDC/ISL to boot, I have to imagine that the remote install process required might actually be a Jumpstart process as opposed to an Ignite process. If that guess is true, I have no idea what to do next.

Has anyone successfully performed a remote install to a V 2200 series serve?
If so, can you offer some positive advice and steps, so I don't have to recreate the wheel.
Thank you.

As far as I know V2200 does NOT support booting from network . The only two options for bootup are
1. local scsi disks or arrays
2. local SCSI CDROM
