Solutionyou can attach a dvd externally to the se scsi port on the core io board for the installation of HPUX. just boot from this path
It may have a dvd already as some did, hp part number A5220A, internally.
The bad news
11iv2 isnt supported on the K series and doubtit will work
you need 11iv1

no way, all NIO, HSC/GSC bus, FWD SCSI stuff is no longer supported on 11i V2 (11.23).
you need to stay at 11.11 (11i V1). so you have to get those media and make sure you get CDs not DVDs.

yes it is 64bit capable but not supported as the other io architecture is too old.
