How do you clear the Attention LED display on an HP 9000 server when the amber light is flashing after a power dip. Is it the chassis logs?
Thanks

Solution
Hello,
the Attention LED starts flashing as soon as an entry in the GSP/MP error logs is created. As soon as you have a look in these logs, the LED is off again.
To access these logs you type "Ctrl B" on the local system console, log on to your GSP (defalt user/password either return/return or Admin/Admin), type sl for show logs and then select e for the error logs.
If you want to know what these entries mean, what kind of error might have occured, you'd better call HP support.

Re: Attention LED
from the console, press Ctl+B to enter the GSP console. from here you will be prompted to login, press return twice.
type SL + return to show the logs and from here you can view the various different system logs to see where your issue is.
press q + return to exit out of the log console
and type co + return
to return back to the standard console
Hope this helps
Martin.
