Hi, the ATTN light has started flashing on a N4000 server that I am responsable for. Unfortunately I have no documentation available and cannot locate any on the web. Does anyone have details of where I can download documentation, or details of a troubleshooting procedure I can carry out. I have searched the HP site to no avail.

Hi Steven,
"Attn." led flashing means there are some warnings in your box such as power interrupt. Go to your consoleand
Press Ctrl+B , go into GSP mode, then type:
GSP>sl
Select "e" to view the error log.
GSP>co
Now the "Attn." will turn off.
Regards,
Robert-Jan

Re: Attn light flashing on N4000 server
THe attention light is flashing because there are logs in the GSP that have nopt been read or cleared . You need to read and clear those logs .
As mentioned in the earlier post , go to console , then press ctrlB to come to gsp prompt . Enter your user name and password if you have one , or just press enter twice . YOu will be in the gsp .
From their do sl for show logs ( type HE to get a complete list of comamnd ).
GSP will tell you exactly what to dowith logs whther to acknowledge , clear or remove . YOu can acknowledge and alear all the logs .
Once done type "co" to come back to console prompt .

Re: Attn light flashing on N4000 server
In addition, when reviewing the GSP error log, post anything above ALERT LEVEL 10 or 11.
