What is the best recommended books for HP 11.x security.

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate "Security for HP 11.x".

Hi,

The Bastion paper that was included by Harry is probably the best around for HP-UX.
Just be aware that a great many of the patches in the document have been superceded.

I'd rate security more or less square with the administrator.

I'd rate it 9 (because I'd give nothing 10), but installation from default is wide open, from local exploits to remote exploits.

Get the latest patches and firewall if you are really tight about it.

Remember it can be made real secure, take amazon.com for example.
