Blower failure on SD16A

Hi Team,

i have found one of the cabinet blower in my superdome failed (out of 4 ,one is shoiwng failed and 3 are ok)...Downtime required for replacing the failed cabinet blower ?.

hi,

blowers can be usually replaced online. and sd's blowers are hot-swap too.

These blowers are on the top of the cabinet - no downtime.

Hot swap. HP ships the part. Mostly people do these replacements themselves.

Just like on little proliant boxes.

Hi,
No downtime is required, it is hot swappable.
only two thumb screws will be there, so you can replace it by your own, if you have the spare.
