Hope I've asked this question in the right forum.
For the life of me, I can't seem to find the hardware specifications for an old K-class 260 server (9000/879) at HP's site.
Does anyone know what speed does the built-in LAN card support? Currently it's configured only at 10Mbps and I can't seem to switch it to 100Mbps. Tried switching the speeds with lanadmin but it failed with an error 22.
ioscan info for the LAN card if it helps :
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
===================================================================
lan 1 10/12/6 lan2 CLAIMED INTERFACE Built-in LAN
/dev/diag/lan1 /dev/ether1
Thanks.

Re: Built-in LAN card for K-260
If you need 100Mb speed you'll have to get either an HSC or GSC 100Mb LAN card.

The information on the built in LAN interface is on page 2-20 (Figure 2-21).

Solutionyou will get an error saying that the hardware does not support this.
The lanadmin error is normal, I got that answer from HP software/hardware support.
