C1099A Terminal not funtion.

dear all,
i've got a C1099A Terminal funtion problem. when i connect the terminal to the server(like superdome)'s console port, the "GSP login:" prompt appears, after i input the username Admin and press enter, it does not show the "GSP password" prompt, it means i could not enter the password Admin to access GSP, so i could not log on to os via that terminal. but when i use a hyperterm of a laptop, it does funtion ok.
so what configuration of the terminal i should modify to make it function ok?

Hi,

Terminal or a PC running a terminal emulator to the console serial port settings should 9600 Baud, 8-bits, No-parity, 1 Stop bit.

Yes Sir, If terminal setting is not proper then charecter will not properly seen on the screen.
