Hi;
I want to install some Software at RP3440 server but there is is no DVD/CD ROM Drive (Slim) with the system, can anyone plz help me which model (DL/ML) of DVD/CD ROM drive will perfect for RP3440.

What do U mean, U have install ProLiant Server DL/ML CD/DVD ROM drive in HP-UX rp3440 server?

It not possible because both system product lines are different.

Solution:
Try to configure NFS if possible, then U can shear same network other system CD/DVD.

none of the proliant ones will actually fit in the rp34xx systems.

the connections are all different

the proliant ones are all hotplug onto the system board and the rp34xx ones have a ribbon cable connection on to fasten them in.

Be aware - most proliant dvd drives are USB these days, this rp3440 drive is IDE.

I would suggest to get an original drive or a supported external SCSI drive.
