Can a 9000 model 712/60 emulate a Envizex X-Terminal?

We have a 9000 model 712/60 with 512MB main memory. We have several Envizex X-Terminals we need another. We want to use the 712 but don't want to load 10.20 on it and it seems incapable of running 11.11 our preferred platform. Can I configure the 712 to boot from a X-Term server running Netstation software?

tony,

I dont think so as the envizex terminals have an intel based chipset and the 712 is pa risc.

Also there is no options to set all the networking up at BCH either like you can with the envizex's.

And I dont think the 712 will have 512mb in it, largest HP made was 64mb modules(2x32mb) and the dont have enough slots. only 4 if my memory serves my right so you will have 128mb most.

envizex terminals can be picked up cheaply on the used market now aswell, but there are diferent versions.
