Re: Chassis Hardware Monitor (Events) INLET_OVERTEMP
The triggers for these alarms are in the kernel or hardware, not in the
monitor; the monitor is informed that the temperature has reached the
Critical or Emergency level, it is does not determine the levels itself
by checking the temperature level. You'd need to ask someone in the
hardware team to get the threshold temperature for that specific server.
Regards,
Jaime.

Hope this helps!

Re: Chassis Hardware Monitor (Events) INLET_OVERTEMP
1- At what temp the EMS kicked off?
2- At what temp the rp8400 is programmed to shut itself down?
To be honest, I am interested to know too.

Re: Chassis Hardware Monitor (Events) INLET_OVERTEMP
- overtemp warning
- critical warning
- OS shutdown
- power off
There are only some degrees between, but the numbers are different for different models.
Please come back with your findings.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
