Console Access with the GSP, MP and SP

Can anyone fill me in on the diffences between the GSP, MP and SP. I have aways used the GSP for access, or on the V-class, the SSP. Is that the same as an SP? Just want to know what the diffences are and how they are accessed.

NO in-depth GSP information please, I already know it well.

Thanks,
Yates

Re: Console Access with the GSP, MP and SP

To me the only exception is on the V class where you have to use their Workstation. For all practical purposes they are the same with mostly the same commands etc. I use both GSP and SSP and once you connect and logon they all look alike to me. CTL-B still gets you back to the service processor (whatever name you are using) and CTL_E_cf still gets you a terminal session.

I just took an N-Par and V-Par class and the HP instructor emphasised that they were all very similiar and dismissed it at that.
If it has wheels or a skirt, you can't afford it.
